Home Care Packages Sunshine Coast

CARERS YOU CAN TRUST

What is a Home Care Package?

Home Care Packages (HCP) are government-funded programs that support residents over 65 years of age to stay in their own home. These home care packages come in four levels, each designed to cater to different care needs of the elderly. During an aged care assessment, the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will evaluate your needs or the needs of the elderly in your family and determine the appropriate level of care. This assessment will guide the assignment of your Home Care Package level. If you need assistance with applying for home care packages in Sunshine Coast, our team is here to help you every step of the way.

Home Care Package Levels: Customised to Suit Your Care Needs

At Home Care Assistance, we work closely with our clients throughout the Sunshine Coast to develop personalised home care plans based on their unique needs and available government funding for home care services. Whether you’re approved for a Level 1 Home Care Package for basic support or a Level 4 package for more complex care, we ensure the right services are in place to meet your requirements. Our goal is to maximise your funding so that every aspect of your home care plan is covered, from daily living support to specialised care, giving you peace of mind knowing you have the best possible care.

Home Care Package Level 1 - Basic Care

For the elderly who just need basic care, our home care package level 1 in Sunshine Coast is designed to provide minimal support to help maintain independence at home, with typically one or two care worker visits per week.

Home Care Package Level 2 – Low-Level Care

For your elderly who need slightly more assistance, our home care package level 2 in Sunshine Coast offers low-level support to help stay independent at home, generally involving three or four care worker visits weekly.

Services Included in a Level 2 Home Care Package: In addition to Level 1 services, Level 2 provides extra visits for tasks like household chores, personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation.

Home Care Package Level 3 – Intermediate Care
